Phase II of the Isle Pierre Sawmill Modernization was the addition of 2 Debarker lines, 3 Log Sort Bins and 2 Canter / Curve Sawing Lines complete with a coordinated building extension of the Phase I building. Much of the old sawmill was eventually removed with installation of the new equipment being completed while the existing mill was in operation. IQE Ltd. provided conceptual, civil, structural, and mechanical engineering for the complete project.
