The scope of this project entailed integrating a pellet handling system into an existing chip handling facility. IQE provided engineering and design services for a belt conveying bypass system, connecting to six storage silos measuring 72 feet in diameter and 72 feet in height. The design encompassed the silo foundations and a belt conveying outfeed tunnel leading to the ship loading area. IQE collaborated with a sub-consultant to successfully finalize this aspect of the project.
